“Anti-museum”. Workshops on identity, tolerance and anti-discrimination.
21 November 2020 / 11:00 - 13:00
Workshop that'll allow you to deepen your knowledge about the diversity of opinions
During Tolerance Days, there will be one workshop available to everyone, i.e. residents of Poznań.
We invite you this Saturday from 11: 00-13: 00.
Registration at email@example.com, limit of people 12.
Participants will be invited to an unusual workshop lesson, classes on discrimination, to a virtual museum. The anti-discrimination educator combined in the outline two types of activities, the method of empirical learning, i.e. through experience, in this case of art, and non-formal education, i.e. the method of learning through activities other than formal lecture. Based on museum artefacts and pictures of paintings and other pictures of artefacts that can usually be ‘found’ in a museum, participants will deepen their knowledge of the diversity of opinions, tolerance to other people’s opinions and greater sensitivity to artistic and educational activities.
We will focus on the similarities rather than the differences. We will try to find a communication bridge, and not look for divisions and differences that separate people from people. Identity and hate speech will also be discussed.
During the classes you will need crayons, markers, sheets of paper, and your favourite subject ; )
The meeting will be held online at zoom platform.
The event takes place as part of the 2nd Poznań Tolerance Week and is co-organised as part of the “Other Perspective 2.0” project implemented by the CIM Horyzonty association and co-financed by the Poznań City Hall.
If you are registered, join the “Anti Museum” workshop on the Zoom platform at 11:00: here.
