Intercultural workshops in Słupca

A few weeks ago, Dani, Karina and I went to Słupca to give classes about human rights in
Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. Marszałka J. Piłsudskiego.
Besides teaching a lot of classes about human rights, we also gave the children an
introduction in volunteering work, Erasmus Solidarity Corps and CIM Horyzonty. We gave
them presentations about our home countries and gave them more information about our
cultures, habits and values.
We were invited for a whole week to live with a host family. Every day after our classes we
had a program with our host kids. We went for bowling, we got a presentation about Poland,
we saw the city of Słupca and we ate Polish food.
Overall, we had a great time being here for a week and we were very thankful for this
opportunity and these new experiences.
Hugs,
Evi

Meetings were held as a part of „Broaden our horizons” project financed by European Solidarity Corps.
