Moms wellbeing

As part of the Moms wellbeing project, carried out during Poznań Women’s Week, various activities were organized to support the physical and mental well-being of mothers.

Ten uro-physiotherapy consultations were organized and led by Justyna Karykowska (Jeżycka 13 – Midwife with a Heart, birthing school). The consultations took place during Women’s Week in Poznań.

In addition, a mental well-being workshop was held on October 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Przystanek Pireus (35 Głogowska Street). The workshop was conducted by Julia Gierczyk, a psychologist and mother. The session focused on supporting mothers’ mental well-being – preparing for motherhood, strengthening personal resources, rebuilding a sense of security, seeking support from one’s surroundings, and practicing mindfulness to nurture the mother–child relationship.
Twelve mothers and twelve children participated in the meeting.

The next activity was a relaxation concert with a circle of mothers, which took place on October 22, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the same location. The event was hosted by Katarzyna Paluszkiewicz, a musician and owner of Sonora Studio. The meeting took the form of a mothers’ circle combined with a relaxation concert using Sonora instruments. Seven mothers and one child participated.

During the events at Przystanek Pireus, children’s activities were provided by European Solidarity Corps volunteers – Maya Mouline from France and Sarolta Tolnay from Hungary, who organized language and intercultural animations.
