Volcano of Experiments is a family experimentation workshop implemented as part of the mCIL Łazanka project. Classes consisted of a combination of chemical and physical experiments on various subjects.
Four meetings were held in June and July. The first took place during the Lazarus Days on the playground at Dmowskiego Street. Workshops on “kitchen revolutions” met with great interest in children and parents. The most interesting experience turned out to be an egg in a bottle.
The next two series of workshops took place during the summer camps at Klub Krąg. Two groups faced water experiments, which resulted in, among others, swimming potato swimming. The last classes took place in the Piraeus Culture Incubator. They gathered a large group of children together with their parents. Culinary experiments delighted all participants along with their parents. About 135 children and their guardians took part in the whole initiative.
